On a quiet, sunny Monday, Kunoichi’s Chicago base of operations was once again host to longtime client and collaborator Michael Verrecchia. As Director of Entertainment licensing at Hasbro, Michael has worked with Kunoichi on multiple initiatives for Transformers and G.I. Joe, including the G.I. Joe: Operation Hiss animated series, currently in release.
Discussion ranged from Kunoichi’s 2010 success stories to Hasbro’s current challenges presented by the just-launched Hub network, from fashion shows to the changing needs of a corporate giant facing competition on and off the toy rack.
After a quick lunch with Kunoichi’s Account Leader Anna van Slee and Creative Director Brian Torney, Michael was off again, leaving the next morning for another brief jaunt before returning to Hasbro’s Rhode Island home base.
